Speaking of A Taste of Winchester History, did you know that the Glen Burnie Historic House has lineage all the way back to Colonel James Wood and the birth of Winchester, VA? Well, on this sprawling property the amazing Museum of the Shenandoah Valley stands and is a wonderful experience for all who venture on over to the MSV. And there is no better time than this coming Saturday, February 16th from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. during MSV Day, ADMISSION IS FREE!!!
Enjoy free admission to the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley on their special day, which includes guided exhibition tours of “Our Strength is Our People: The Humanist Photographs of Lewis Hine and Albrecht Dürer and Master Prints” — and a family-oriented hands-on activity in the MSV BB&T Learning Center. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and pastries from one of our TWH Tour Partners, the Espresso Bar and Café, will be available for purchase.
